The Bill Michaels Sports Website
The Bill Michaels Sports website was a sports news website that was created by Bill Michaels, a former sports journalist. The site was launched in October of 2006 and featured articles and podcasts about various sports topics. The site was popular among sports fans and had a large following on social media.
In May of 2017, the Bill Michaels Sports website suddenly went offline. All of the content on the site was removed and replaced with a message from Bill Michaels himself. In the message, Michaels explained that he had been diagnosed with cancer and that he was taking a leave of absence from the website to focus on his health.
As of June 2017, the Bill Michaels Sports website is still offline and there is no indication as to when or if it will return.

The Bill Michaels Sports Twitter Handle
In early October, the sports radio personality Bill Michaels announced that he was taking a leave of absence from his show. The next day, his employer, iHeartMedia, released a statement saying that Michaels had been fired for “alleged inappropriate conduct.”
Michaels had been with iHeartMedia for more than 20 years, and his show was syndicated on more than 40 radio stations across the country. He was also active on Twitter, where he had nearly 60,000 followers.
But after he was fired, Michaels’ Twitter account suddenly disappeared. His bio and profile photo were gone, and all of his tweets were deleted. The @BillMichaelsSPN account was replaced with a generic iHeartMedia account called @iHeartRadioNOW.
It’s not uncommon for employers to take control of social media accounts when an employee is terminated. In most cases, the employee’s tweets and other content are simply deleted from the account. But in Michaels’ case, it appears that his entire Twitter history has been erased.
The Bill Michaels Sports Instagram
The Bill Michaels Sports Instagram page has been taken down, but the account is still active on other social media platforms.
The Bill Michaels Sports Snapchat
The Bill Michaels Sports Snapchat story is a cautionary tale for all media companies. The popular sports talk show was abruptly discontinued by its parent company, Entercom, in early 2019. The move came as a surprise to fans of the show, who had come to depend on it for their daily dose of sports news and analysis.
The Snapchat story, which was published shortly after the show was canceled, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the show’s production. It also revealed that the show’s host, Bill Michaels, had been in talks with Entercom about launching a new sports radio station.
While the details of the talks are unclear, it is clear that Entercom was not interested in launching a new station. The company’s decision to cancel the show may have been motivated by financial considerations. Whatever the reason, the decision has left many fans of the show bereft.
